It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

9.4 Chapter Summary
IPsec VPN solutions implementation can be a very tedious
task. Consequently, making the VPN part of the network
security solutions is a challenging task for the beginner and
even for the intermediate security engineer. Accordingly,
a key objective of this chapter was to explain VPN imple-
mentation as clearly as possible using various illustrations,
screenshots, and configuration steps. This chapter provided
a basic overview of VPN technology and briefly explained
how it works. In addition, it presented a comparison
between IKE protocol phases, IPsec modes, IPsec proto-
cols, and VPN types. The chapter focused mainly on site-
