So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

By default, the script uses the dictionary located at <nmap_path>/nselib/data/oracle-sids, but you can specify a different file by setting the script argument oraclesids:
$ nmap -sV --script oracle-sid-brute --script-args oraclesids=/home/pentest/sids.txt <target>
