DNS records hold a surprising amount of host information, and by brute forcing them, we can reveal additional targets. DNS entries often give away information; for example, a DNS record type A named mail obviously indicates that we are dealing with a mail server, or Cloudflare's default DNS entry named direct most of the time will point to the IP that they are trying to protect.
