When I went on the O’Reilly platform, I was astonished to find all the books there, plus live events and sandboxes so you could play around with the technology.I’ve been on the O’Reilly platform for more than eight years. I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Now that you have read this book you are faced with two possibilities.
First, well that was a nice read and it is business as usual.
Second, you really want to make changes in your business that will set you on the path to having more fun and a sustainable business. This means a business that has a strong cash flow, the ability to predict the future based on the numbers and how they impact on the business performance. The ability to scenario plan and determine the two questions a business person needs to always be asking themselves, should we do something? Hire that person, expand into new markets, launch that new product, buy that new building. Will this add value to my business?
The second question is, can we do this? Can we afford ...
