Abstract

There is no doubt that social networking platforms have become one of the most important aspects of modern living as they have made it easy for users to interact, discuss, and share their experiences. As well as having many advantages, these platforms also have some flaws which put users at risk of many dangers, which can be very dangerous for them. A comprehensive exploration of the complex world of online social networking weaknesses is presented in this abstract, which will also highlight the problems that may arise as well as the safety hazards that may happen.

2.1 Introduction

Online social networking has become a disruptive force in the digital era, changing how individuals connect, communicate, and share information. It is often known as a virtual community, is a website that acts as the central meeting place for individuals from various physical places to communicate, exchange ideas and hobbies, and form new friendships [1].
