It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

Label security is a way of defining fine-grained access control for data, which is essential for using Oracle9i to create Virtual Private Databases (VPDs).
- Single sign-on
The Oracle9i Application Server includes the Oracle Login Server, which can provide single sign-on capabilities for applications.
- Virtual index wizard
This new feature of Oracle Enterprise Manager helps you to predict the effects of a new index.
- CREATE TABLE . . . AS SELECT
In Oracle9i, you can use this SQL syntax to create a new table from an existing, online table. When you do this, all updates to the original table that occur during the creation process are automatically applied to the new table.
- RMAN enhancements
There are several small enhancements to the Recovery Manager in Oracle9i.
