I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Running SharePoint on Windows 7
There are some pros and some cons to running SharePoint on Windows 7. One of the benefits is that you do not need to have Windows Server in this installation type. This allows you to easily connect to your site quickly without waiting for a remote desktop session to connect or for a virtual image to load.
Benefits Windows 7-based SharePoint installs give you the ability to quickly demo and showcase your sites.
