In such cases the rights of each party have to be clearly documented, including:
• Access for construction of the new project
• Rights to use the common facilities (including priority of use)
• Obligations to maintain the common facilities
• Provision for the protection of the dependent project if the other project is
abandoned or foreclosed
§7.5 GOVERNMENT SUPPORT AGREEMENT
The purpose of a Government Support Agreement is to facilitate the comple-
tion and operation of the project by providing government support for any aspect
of the project where the parties agree this is required.
