It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

In this chapter, you learned about the new printing model that's introduced in WPF. First you considered the easiest entry point: the all-in-one PrintDialog class that allows users to configure print settings and allows your application to send a document or visual to the printer. After considering a variety of ways to extend the PrintDialog and use it with onscreen and dynamically generated content, you looked at the lower-level XPS printing model. You then learned about the XpsDocumentWriter, which supports the PrintDialog and can be used independently.
