I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Testing our push notifications
Run yarn deploy, and then we can test out our push notifications.
The easiest way to test it is to simply open up a tab of our deployed app, and then another version in an Incognito tab (using Chrome). Log in to each tab with different users, and when you send a message, you should see the following:
Note that you must not have both tabs in focus; you need to open both tabs, but switch away from one, otherwise the notification won't display.
