So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

Twitter is the perfect example of a truly global application. Their application needs to be accessible by users on all continents, in all conditions (just look at the role Twitter played in organizing revolts in the Arab Spring).
To achieve global accessibility, the Twitter team managed to slim down their application to 1 MB and added all the PWA goodness discussed in this article: home screen installation, push notifications, and offline access.
