When I went on the O’Reilly platform, I was astonished to find all the books there, plus live events and sandboxes so you could play around with the technology.I’ve been on the O’Reilly platform for more than eight years. I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Why React?
React is quickly becoming the go-to solution for frontend web applications. Why? This is because it's fast, elegant, and makes managing large applications easy.
In other words, it makes complexity simple. There's no reason a PWA has to use React, though. PWAs can be any web app or site.
React does have one major benefit--its component pattern, where UIs are split into distinct pieces. As we'll see, the component pattern lets us break our interface into small chunks of code to alleviate the preceding JavaScript downloading issue. However, other than that, any frontend framework will work just as well for a PWA.
The advantage of React is that it is a beautiful and fun way to build frontend applications. It's also an in-demand skill. ...
