A team did research on solar energy, and in particular, on feed-in-tariffs (FITs). FITs relate to an amount of money paid by the government or a utility provider for energy produced by a renewable energy source. The student team was interested in researching the influence of FITs on the adoption of solar energy and did a comparison across different nations. At the end of the study, they had the following conclusions, discussion of limitations, and directions for future research.
