normpath
normpath(path)Returns a normalized pathname equivalent to
path, removing redundant separators and
path-navigation aspects. For example, on Unix,
normpath returns 'a/b' when
path is any of 'a//b',
'a/./b', or 'a/c/../b‘.
normpath converts path separators as appropriate
for the current platform. For example, on Windows, the returned
string uses \ as the separator.
