Extracting and understanding the features

Generally, using the parse result, you can derive many features such as generating noun phrases and POS tags inside the noun phrase; you can also derive the head word from phrases. You can use each word and its tag. You can use the dependency relationships as features. You can see the code snippet in Figure 5.27:
