Unsupervised ML

This is another type of machine learning algorithm. When we don't have any labeled data, then we can use unsupervised machine learning algorithms. In the NLP domain, there is a common situation where you can't find the labeled dataset, then this type of ML algorithm comes to our rescue.

Here, we will discuss the unsupervised ML algorithm called K-means clustering. This algorithm has many applications. Google has used this kind of unsupervised learning algorithms for so many of their products. YouTube video suggestions use the clustering algorithm.

The following image will give you an idea of how data points are represented in unsupervised ML algorithms. Refer to Figure 8.55:
