Defining word2vec

Word2vec is developed by using two-layer neural networks. It takes a large amount of text data or text corpus as input and generates a set of vectors from the given text.

In other words, we can say that it generates high-dimensional vector space. This vector space has several hundred dimensions.

Please don't be afraid of the high dimensionality. I make the whole concept of word2vec simple for you during this chapter.

You will really want to know what I mean here when I say that the word2vec model generates a set of vectors or vector space from text.
