In this section, we will look at a concept called conditional probability. We will use the concept of a dependent event and independent event to understand the concept of conditional probability.
The conditional probability of an event B is the probability that the event will occur given the knowledge that an event, A, has already occurred. This probability is written as P(B|A), the notation for the probability of B given A. Now let's see how this conditional probability turns out when events are independent.
