Faktoren mit forcats
Einführung
In R werden Faktoren verwendet, um mit kategorialen Variablen zu arbeiten, das heißt mit Variablen, die einen festen und bekannten Satz von möglichen Werten haben. Außerdem sind Faktoren nützlich, wenn Sie Zeichenvektoren in nichtalphabetischer Reihenfolge anzeigen möchten.
Historisch gesehen ist es viel einfacher, mit Faktoren zu arbeiten als mit Zeichen. Im Ergebnis konvertieren viele Funktionen in Basis-R automatisch Zeichen in Faktoren. Das heißt, dass Faktoren oftmals an Stellen auftauchen, wo sie eigentlich nicht hilfreich sind. Zum Glück brauchen Sie sich im Tidyverse nicht darum zu kümmern und können sich auf Situationen konzentrieren, wo Faktoren wirklich nützlich sind.
