It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

Bisher hat sich dieses Buch auf Tibbles und Pakete, die mit Tibbles arbeiten, konzentriert. Doch wenn Sie eigene Funktionen schreiben und tiefer in R eindringen, müssen Sie auch Vektoren beherrschen, das heißt die Objekte, auf denen Tibbles aufsetzen. Haben Sie R nach eher herkömmlichen Methoden gelernt, sind Sie wahrscheinlich bereits mit Vektoren vertraut, da die meisten R-Quellen mit Vektoren beginnen und erst später die Ebene mit Tibbles erreichen. Meiner Ansicht nach ist es besser, mit Tibbles zu beginnen, weil man sofort damit arbeiten kann, und sich erst später mit den zugrunde liegenden Komponenten zu beschäftigen.
