MANAGING A BUSY OR A QUIET INBOX

Now that you have pushed past nerves and started Reaching Out, it’s time for the next somewhat scary task—checking your inbox for replies from your Targets. Remember, even if you didn’t get the exact email response you were hoping for, you can try again with someone else—there are always more Reach Outs you can do.

THE FOUR MAIN TYPES OF RESPONSES

Just as there are four main types of Reach Outs, there are four main categories of Reach Out responses. Generally, your Targets will respond with one of the following:

  Response One: Thanks for these Gifts (this is if no Favor was asked).

  Response Two: Thanks for the Gifts; happy to help with your Favor.

  Response Three: Thanks for the Gifts; I can’t ...
