In this chapter, you learned that there are two main styles of troubleshooting, intuitive (Educated Guessers) and systematic (Data Collectors). We covered which troubleshooting steps work best for those two styles and that it is possible for some (Adaptors) to utilize both styles of troubleshooting.
In the following chapters of this book, as we troubleshoot real-life scenarios, I will utilize both the intuitive and systematic troubleshooting steps highlighted in the processes discussed in this chapter.
This chapter did not get into technical specifics; the next chapter will be full of technical details, as we cover and explore common Linux commands used for troubleshooting.
