It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

プロット内の目盛線を非表示にしたい。
解決策
主目盛線（目盛と同じ位置にある線）は
panel.grid.major
で制御できます。補助目盛線（主目盛線の
間に引かれる線）は
panel.grid.minor
で制御できます。図 9-11（左）に示すように、それぞれを非表示
にできます。
