Abstract
Today, internet technology shows quick progress and social networks increase their number of users each day. Rapid and deep penetration of the internet in India has impacted every aspect of life across all periods. One of the main indexes of the technology period is social networking, which attracts people of all periods, while the virtual world goes beyond real life via the operations it offers. Social Networking spots (SNSs) are virtual communities where users can produce individual public biographies, interact with real-life musketeers, and meet other people with similar interests. Young people especially show a violent interest in social media, which is an expansive example of internet technology. Social media dependence is growing both in India and around the world. This study aims to determine the position of social media dependence in young people and how many of them are addicted and make suggestions on the forestallment of the dependence. The current landscape of social media dependence and social media is examined in depth to determine causes of the dependence.
