すべてのアプリが直接Prometheusメトリクスを開示していればありがたいところだが、世界はそのようにはできていない。すでに使っているモニタリングシステムがあるかもしれないが、そのような場合、一日で全部Prometheusに切り替えるのは現実的ではない。
幸い、Prometheusの数百のexporterのなかには、ほかのモニタリングシステムのデータをPrometheus形式に変換してくれるものがいくつかある。理想の最終目標はPrometheusへの完全な切り替えでも、移行期間中には、この章で学ぶこの種のexporterがとても役に立つ。
11.1 その他のモニタリングシステム
モニタリングシステムのPrometheusとの互換性の度合いはまちまちである。ほとんど何もしなくても済むものもあれば、大変な作業が必要になるものもある。たとえば、InfluxDBは、データモデルがPrometheusのものとかなり似ているので、アプリケーションにInfluxDBラインプロトコルをInfluxDB exporter（http://bit.ly/2M5XpBb）に送れば、それをPrometheusでスクレイプできる。
collectdなどのシステムはラベル機能を持たないが、collectd exporter（http://bit.ly/2MDIEq8）を使えば、ほかに設定をしなくても、出力をPrometheusメトリクスに自動変換できる。バージョン5.7からは、collectdはWrite Prometheusプラグイン（http://bit.ly/2JPFy4I）という形でこのexporterをネイティブに組み込んでいる。
しかし、Prometheusメトリクスとして妥当なものに自動変換できるようなデータモデルを持っているモニタリングシステムばかりではない。Graphite ...
