of mobile applications and services is emerging. Below is a list of
existing and potential mobile messaging applications:

IM chat with a mobile device, enabled by mobile service providers
on selected smart phones such as T-Mobile sidekick

Mobile IM integration with enterprise applications such as cus-
tomer relationship management (CRM) and enterprise resource
planning (ERP) (mobile enterprise applications are discussed later
