Client Credentials

The Client Credentials grant type is similar to the Resource Owner Password Credentials flow. In the Client Credentials grant, the Client interacts with the Authorization Server, provides the identification by sending the Client ID and Client Secrets, and gets the access token. Once the access token is received, the Client will interact with the Resource Server. In this case, a refresh token should not be used. The process flow is illustrated by the following diagram:
