It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

Street photography is a complex genre. And yet, a strong photograph can be very simple in its aesthetic. The success can lie in the gesture or the expression of the subject alone. A subject’s facial expression can convey happiness, fear, sadness, or any number of emotions. The gesture is usually a bit more subtle to see and capture, but it can make or break the overall composition.
TECHNIQUE
Unfortunately there isn’t a foolproof recipe to making a successful street photograph. If there were, you wouldn’t be reading this book.
