So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

Tilt It Like You Mean It
ASSIGNMENT
Oftentimes we need to straighten our vertical lines in post-processing, especially when there is a slight lens distortion. Slightly tilted verticals really draw the eye away from the subject. Other times, we choose to make a creative statement by tilting the camera with intent. A tilt will give you a much more dynamic composition.
TECHNIQUE
There are times when there is no other way to get the shot than to tilt the camera. It often allows you to remove distractions around the subject or get a cleaner background. If you are really close to your subject, tilting will enhance the feeling of proximity. It is also something you can choose to do with the cropping tool in post-processing to save a photograph ...
