It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

Looking Out
ASSIGNMENT
Similar to the previous assignment, now your goal is to photograph an interesting subject through a window—but by looking out this time. Think of various possibilities and embrace reflections. You may be on a train photographing people on the platform, inside a café, in the lobby of a public building, or someplace where people converge.
TECHNIQUE
Pick your spot carefully. Watch for potential unwelcome distractions in the background such as cars or delivery trucks. You have the advantage of being quite invisible, so take your time and wait for a strong subject. Think of ways to make your shot more interesting with some creative framing or focusing.
