It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

The Minimalist Approach in the Urban Landscape
ASSIGNMENT
In a minimalist approach to street photography, your subject will be quite small in the frame while also remaining the focal point in an interesting urban landscape. Look for interesting architecture, repeated patterns, geometrical shapes, and so forth. They all make for interesting backgrounds. Once you find a great spot, you need to be patient and wait for the strongest possible subject to enter the frame.
TECHNIQUE
