19.1 History of AI

AI was first introduced in the year 1956 by John Mccarthy in a conference. The story behind AI is machines operating like humans and understanding that the machines have the ability to think and learn by themselves, as humans do. Alan Turing, who was a mathematician, has put his hypothesis and questions into an action and analyzed if machines can think, which was called the Turing test, and enabled machines to think like humans.
