On Integrating LSS and DMAIC with DMADV

 

 

 

IN A NUTSHELL

Lean and Six Sigma DMAIC and DMADV are two fundamentally different but compatible approaches to process improvement. They are both very effective methodologies to be applied when the circumstances call for either one. Lean’s objective is to identify and eliminate waste in all processes, while DMAIC/DMADVs’ objectives are to identify and eliminate variation in a process.
