Peter Clarke had checked in at the Southampton Princess less than 30 minutes earlier. He had already jumped into his swimsuit and was winding his way down the steep hill in the hotel shuttle toward the pink sandy beach. It was 80°, and the sea was the same striking blue green that he remembered. Today was the first day of his Golden Oval recognition trip for Raleigh Papers’ sales force. Even better, as vice president of sales he was the man in charge of it all.
