Introduction
The Definition of Done (sometimes shortened to DoD) is one of the three commitments of the Scrum Guide. It describes an Increment’s required quality standard to be considered “done” and is a prerequisite for inspecting any Increment.
The Definition of Done serves a crucial function, as it provides the Scrum Team and its organization with a common understanding of the completeness of the Increment.
