5.5. Best Practices
Some corporations have responded to the increased scrutiny of corporate behavior with increased attention to governance. Fortunately, there are organizations that study and recommend best practices and provide a forum for discussing new policies and procedures and vetting ideas. One organization that I have been privileged to be involved with is the Millstein Center. Its website (millstein.som.yale.edu) contains invaluable information on tried-and-true best practices as well as potential best practices of the future.
