I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
1.4. The Challenge of Information Silos
As large companies struggled with their compliance challenges, they have often attempted to solve them on a regulation-by-regulation basis. This has resulted in information silos—pockets of information spread around an organization that contain similar (or in some cases identical) data relating to compliance activities. Of course, when the same information is stored in multiple places, the likelihood of inconsistency is high. This is a pernicious problem because the people who rely on this information may not be aware of the existence of the silos.
