3.3 Enabling transaction breakdown
To install, configure, and verify the functionality of the tools needed to perform an
STI - WebSphere Application Server Version transaction breakdown you must:
1. Install the Enterprise Transaction Performance and Web Transaction
Performance components
2. Install WebSphere Application Server
3. Configure WebSphere Application Server for ARM
4. Distribute Enterprise Transaction Performance onto the server system
5. Use STI while ARM-enabled
These steps are outlined in Figure 3-8.
