22Wrapping Up of Part IV

Now we have been through the after part and we hope it is clear that this phase is where the learning and impact happens for real or fades out. If we don't follow up on the good energy in the session, don't use the input or forget to communicate, the likelihood of something happening is rather low. Hopefully you have in your planning phase already designed the follow-up phase and set aside time to do it – if not, you still have a task at hand.

It is also after the session that you as a facilitator have an opportunity to get feedback and learn what work could be improved or developed for next time.

  1. − Follow up with participants to keep them engaged, in the short, medium and long term.
  2. − Follow up on the project to ensure impact and share progress with participants.
  3. − Ask for feedback from your participants to grow your skills as a virtual facilitator and ensure your sessions provide the impact you are aiming for. If possible do it during the session.
  4. − Provide feedback for participants when needed. Both when you see wanted behaviour and if you need someone to act differently.
