When I went on the O’Reilly platform, I was astonished to find all the books there, plus live events and sandboxes so you could play around with the technology.I’ve been on the O’Reilly platform for more than eight years. I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

All the futurists are telling us that we are standing on the precipice of an AI revolution. They predict changes and disruptions and issue dire warnings about the loss of jobs, the loss of freedom, and the ultimate destruction of humanity. It’s as if they all watched Terminator too much when they were young.
No, Skynet is not going to wake up and nuke us all. We are nowhere near producing a machine that will “wake up.”
That’s not to say that AI, large language models (LLMs), deep learning, and big data aren’t interesting and fruitful technologies. They certainly are, and their effects upon us are likely to be significant. But there’s nothing supernatural about them, nor are they going to approach anything even remotely similar to human ...
