I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

Here in Part II, I’m going to regale you with tales about some of those giants. The stories I’m going to relate are about programmers who achieved a level of greatness and had a profound effect upon our industry. Those stories will describe some of the technical, and some of the personal, challenges that they faced. My goal for these stories is to get you to know these remarkable people both at a more personal level and at a more technical level.
