In this part . . .
No For Dummies book is complete without a Part of Tens section: lists of ten easy-to-read informational nuggets. Of course, the lists don’t always contain exactly ten, but you get the general idea.
The first list explains ten things you’ll absolutely hate about Windows 8 (followed by ways to fix those problems).
The second list contains tips exclusively for tablet and laptop owners. It explains how to change how your laptop reacts when you close its lid, for example, as well as quick ways to switch in and out of Airplane Mode while flying.
I also throw in step-by-step instructions for tasks mobile computer owners repeat constantly: logging on to new wireless networks and setting the clock for a new time zone.
