Automating Document Content with Fields
Hand-addressing your holiday cards lends a personal touch that many recipients will appreciate. But in most cases, hand-addressing a mass mailing to friends or clients takes more time than you have to spend. Word offers features that you can use to create documents that take care of some tedious tasks for you.
Chapter 22 launches this part by showing you to create a mail-merge document that combines a data source and data document. Chapter 23 explains how to add fields to a document to supply content automatically or prompt the user for content. Finally, Chapter 24 shows you how to use Word's form capabilities to collect data.
