I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

Engineer）を務める粟田啓介さん。「オラオラ系」だった自身のスタイル
を変革し、組織の変革を推進するキーパーソンへと成長してきた。その転
機となったのは、コミュニティとの出会いだった。
コミュニティでは別人のような同僚に衝撃
粟田さんがコミュニティに参加し始めたのは、2014年のこと。たまた
ま参加したMySQL コミュニティで同僚の意外な姿と遭遇したことがきっ
かけだった。普段の落ち着き払った印象が、登壇した途端に一変。「おつ
かれさまでーす！！」と腹から声を出して会場を盛り上げていたのだ。
「何だここは……と衝撃を受けました」（粟田さん）
「自分も変われるんじゃないか」。そう直感した粟田さんは、コミュニティ
活動への第一歩を踏み出す。
MySQLコミュニティでの経験は、技術的な学びにとどまらず、新たな
視点をもたらした。「それまでは自分が運用しているプロダクトのことし
か考えていなかったのですが、一気に視野が広がり、データベースの領域
を超えて、できることが増えていった」という。これがやがて、実務にも
自分自身から組織まで変革をもたらす
