z/TPF allows connectivity of up to 40,000 disks — each with up to 32K cylinders. z/TPF disk
systems are, like its memory, formatted to preallocate record sizes. If using the most efficient
of these (4K records), z/TPF can address up to about 1 petabyte of usable data.
