5.2.3 Restrictions
Remember the following important restrictions when you work with the z/TPF XML API:
An existing XML document that has been parsed into XML structures with the z/TPF XML
API cannot be used to build a new XML document with the tpf_xml_buildXMLDocument()
function. This is caused by the data normalization that is performed by the B2B XML
scanner.
Because the XML structures are stored in the ECB heap area, they cannot be shared
across ECBs.
5.3 XML4C
XML4C provides APIs for both the Document Object Model (DOM) and Simple API for XML
(SAX) specifications.
