OSCILLATOR SPECTRUMS
Figure O.1 can also be considered to be Fig. F.3.38f. It shows additional oscillator spectrums from more recently available information. Data are shown in Table O.1, which is a continuation of Table F.3.1. Many of these curves are for IC oscillators, which tend to be relatively noisy. However, other oscillators that are used in ICs, such as ring oscillators and astable multivibrators, are even noisier and are included in Fig. F.3.38e.

aThese curves are included in all the plots of Fig. F.3.38 to provide a visual reference between plots. They are close to the upper and lower limits of oscillator spectrums excluding some of the very noisy, low-Q oscillators (e.g., ring oscillators).
