18.1 Introduction
Multimedia broadcasting has recently attracted a great deal of research interest [437,
438] along with growing wireless communication capabilities [439, 440] and the
demand for audio and video streaming [2]. However, broadcasting systems tradi-
tionally suffer from heterogeneous channel conditions across receivers. A trans-
