To get a true reflection of the other objects in the scene, you will need to use the raytracing methodology. There are essentially two ways to create raytraced reflections in a scene: by using a raytrace map or by using a raytrace material.
In many cases, the raytrace map looks great and saves tons of rendering time instead of using the raytrace material. Keep in mind, though, the amount of control you will have with a raytrace map is significantly less than with the raytrace material.
