It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

ビッグバンリリース
ビッグバンリリース（
Big-bang Release
）は全体でドカンと一気にリリースす
る手法です。非常にわかりやすい手法ですが、もし新バージョンに不具合があると
全滅など大惨事になる可能性があります。リスクマネージメントをしない丸腰リ
リースとも言えます。
とはいえリスクマネージメントは他の手法でやることとして、リリースはビッグ
バンリリースというのはよくある選択です。

カナリアリリース
カナリアリリース（
Canary Release
）は全体に対して少しずつ様子を見ながら
新しいプログラムを投入していくリリース手法です。炭鉱のカナリアから着想を得
たと言われています。炭鉱にカナリアを連れて行くと、炭鉱で有毒ガスが出たとき
にカナリアが先に死んでしまうので、炭鉱労働者は逃げられるという話です。カナ
リアは常にさえずっているので、カナリアが静かになったらすぐに逃げれば助かる
というのが話のポイントです。
リリースはまずは全体からするとごく一部の実行対象に新バージョンを投入して
様子を見ます。もし新バージョンに問題があれば、新バージョンのリリースを止め
て、リリース済みのところは元バージョンに戻します。その実行対象に問題がなけ
れば徐々に全体に対して新バージョンを投入していきます。
